When you hit the tennis ball on your non-dominant side you
are hitting the Tennis Backhand. That
would be the left side for a right handed player and the opposite for a left
handed player. There are 3 types of tennis
backhands you can hit, the one-handed backhand, two-handed backhand and the
slice backhand.
These videos will teach you the fundamental
techniques the professionals use when they hit the different types of
backhands. Watch the videos in order so
you have a thorough understanding of the grips and techniques that go in to
hitting a solid tennis backhand. Start
with the Backhand Tennis Grips, move on to the fundamentals and then to the
practice techniques for each of the backhand types. The Slice Backhand Videos and Advanced Backhand Videos are listed last.
These videos feature
examples of the correct backhand technique from teaching pros and Professional Tennis
players, including Andrej Loncar, Frank Salazar, Andy Roddick, Serena Williams, Sacha Jones, Radek Stepanek, Oliver Akli, Justin Gimelstob, Tommy Haas and Gael Monfils.
